Alexander Knight Recruitment are currently looking to recruit on behalf of one of their clients a dynamic, enthusiastic, target driven individual to focus on “New Business”. The successful candidate will be working for a well-established fuel company in Feering, Colchester, Essex.
The individual should have an excellent telephone manor in conjunction with good negotiation skills, be extremely well organised, have the ability to build strong customer/supplier relationships and a drive to succeed in the role.
The roles and responsibilities include :
- Cold calling potential new businesses.
- Client visits
- Research and target dedicated commercial prospect lists.
- Conduct credit checks using internal systems.
- Email potential customers with introduction letter/proposals, account application packs, terms and conditions, prices and any other information required to complete application.
- Up sell all other products and companies within the Group.
- Request up to date financial accounts as required for the credit department.
- Confirm with customer when their new account is open and what their payment terms and credit limits are.
- Input and update all relevant data onto the company bespoke computer systems.
- Produce weekly and monthly target progress reports.
- Marketing. E-Marketing campaigns from ideas to production and send out. Collate stats on e-marketing campaigns, once completed on spreadsheets.
- Advertising. Contact local publications and collate rates, circulation stats and publication dates. Produce copy for publications by deadlines.
- To promote the group of companies.
- Promote new brands when required, including the update of all product data, prices and item codes.
Owing to the location of the office, your own transport is essential.
